Mel and Tanner’s fall engagement session at Assiniboine Park was especially meaningful for me! I first met them while photographing Mel’s brother’s wedding a few years ago at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, here in Manitoba. Getting to document another chapter of the same family’s story felt incredibly full circle. Surrounded by golden autumn grasses and soft, overcast light, their session unfolded in a calm, intimate way which was full of natural connection, quiet laughter, and effortless romance. They even included their sweet dog in a few photos! Assiniboine Park provided the perfect backdrop for capturing this beautiful season of their love story.
